7th Ex-Co meet finalizes modality, budget for ANFA Women's League

The 7th Executive Committee meeting of All Nepal Football Association concluded at ANFA Complex in Satdobato on Wednesday. The meeting was organized virtually and was chaired by President Pankaj Bikram Nembang.

Besides Nembang, Vice Presidents Deepak Khatiwada and Dawa Lama, General Secretary Kiran Rai, Ex-Co members Mahendra Chhetri, Manish Joshi, Purushottam Thapa attended the virtual meeting from ANFA Complex while Tika Lama, Maniraj Bista, Bharat Budh Thapa, Bikash Narayan Shrestha, Sarila Shrestha Maleku, Pema Dolma Lama and Dipendra Dhimal joined from their respective places.

The meeting discussed on the budget and the modality of the ANFA Women's League.

ANFA General Secretary Kiran Rai answered queries from various members regarding the league.

Lalit Memorial ANFA U-18 Youth League begins at ANFA Complex

The Lalit Memorial ANFA U-18 Youth League 2024 officially began at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato on Sunday. The league was inaugurated by Chief Guest and Star Hospital Executive Chairman Kishore Kumar Maharjan, who kicked off the event by handing over the match ball to the officials and releasing balloons at the complex.

The opening ceremony was attended by ANFA President Pankaj Bikram Nembang, Vice President and League Coordinator Deepak Khatiwada, General Secretary Kiran Rai, Executive Committee member and League Deputy Coordinator Bikash Narayan Shrestha, CEO Indraman Tuladhar, Treasurer Rabindra Joshi, as well as players and officials from the participating clubs.

A total of twelve clubs are competing in this year's league: APF Football Club, Church Boys United, FC Khumaltar, Jawalakhel Youth Club, Machhindra Football Club, Manang Marsyangdi Club, Nepal Police Club, New Road Team, Sankata Club, Satdobato Youth Club, Three Star Club, and Tribhuvan Army Football Club.

Matches will be held at the ANFA Complex ground in Satdobato, with each club playing every other club twice in a double round-robin format. The team finishing at the top of the table will be crowned champions.

The champions will receive Rs 100,000, while the runner-up will be awarded Rs 50,000. Additionally, the Most Valuable Player, Highest Scorer, and Best Goalkeeper will each receive Rs 15,000.

ANFA, Star Hospital sign medical agreement for U-18 Youth League

All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has signed an agreement with Star Hospital on medical services for the Lalit Memorial U-18 Youth League 2024.

The agreement was signed at ANFA Complex in Satdobato on Sunday.

ANFA President Pankaj Bikram Nembang and Star Hospital Executive Chairman Kishore Kumar Maharjan signed in the agreement.

As per the agreement, Star Hospital will provide medical services in the ongoing League by deploying a doctor and a fully-equipped ambulance in the tournament. Star Hospital will be known as the Medical Partner of the League.

ANFA General Secretary Kiran Rai, Ex-Co member and Deputy Coordinator of the League Bikash Narayan Shrestha, CEO Indraman Tuladhar, among others, were also present in the signing ceremony.

Preparations complete for Lalit Memorial ANFA U-18 Youth League 2024

A press meet was organized at ANFA Complex in Satdobato on Wednesday to brief about the completion of preparations of Lalit Memorial ANFA U-18 Youth League 2024.

ANFA President and League coordinator Deepak Khatiwada briefed the press about the preparations for the League. ANFA Spokesperson Suresh Shah, Competitions Director Sanjeeb Mishra, among others, also answered questions during the meeting.

Twelve clubs (APF Football Club, Church Boys United, FC Khumaltar, Jawalakhel Youth Club, Machhindra Football Club, Manang Marsyangdi Club, Nepal Police Club, New Road Team, Sankata Club, Satdobato Youth Club, Three Star Club and Tribhuvan Army Football Club) are taking part in the competition.

The participating clubs will also receive Rs 350,000 each for preparation of the tournament.

The matches of the League will be played at ANFA Complex ground in Satdobato. Participating 12 clubs will play each other on a double round robin format with the top team clinching the title.

The champions of the League will receive Rs 100,000 while the runner-up will take home Rs 50,000. Most Valuable Player, Highest Scorer and Best Goalkeeper will also receive Rs 15,000 each.
