ANFA Referee Course CAT 4 begins in Gandaki Province

ANFA Referee Course CAT 4 has begun in Kaski of Gandaki Province from Sunday. The seven days course will conclude on April 24.

ANFA Senior Vice President Bir Bahadur Khadka attended the opening session and wished the participants well for the course.

A total of 36 referees―34 male and two female―are taking part in the course.

Sanepa defeat Swoyambhu; Social Welfare, Khalibari share points

Sanepa Club defated Swoyambhu Youth Club 2-1 to claim their first victory of the Martyr's Memorial C Division League 2024 on Wednesday.

Pemba Dorje Lama (4') and Nirajan Jung Shahi (86') scored for Sanepa to secure the late win. Sugrit Magar had levelled for Swoyambhu in the 48th minute before Shahi's winning goal.

In the other match of the day, Social Welfare Sports Center Club and Khalibari Yuba Football Club shared points after 1-1 draw. Ronal Rai scored for Khalibari in the 22nd minute before Niraj Pariyar levelled in the 64th minute.

RC32, Bagmati Youth win to begin third round

RC32 Football Academy and Bagmati Youth Club won their respective matches as the third round of Martyr's Memorial C Division League 2024 began from Tuesday.

RC32 laboured to a 1-0 victory over Mahabir Studies and Athletics Association while Bagmati defeated Samajik Youth Club 2-0.

Bibek Rai's 28th minute strike gave RC32 their third victory from as many matches.

Nirmal Bal in the eighth minute and Sanam Dhimal in the 34th minute gave Bagmati the victory in the second match of the day.

Manohara secure thrilling victory over Sanga, Jhamsikhel rout Golbazar

Manohara United Youth Club secured a thrilling 3-2 victory over Sports Academy Sanga while Jhamsikhel Youth Club made an easy work of Golbazar Sports Club with 4-0 win in the Martyr's Memorial C Division League 2024 on Sunday.

In the first match of the day, Uttam Shahi gave Manohara the lead in the fifth minute. Bishant Magar doubled the advantage in the 15th minute before Sanga pulled one back from the penalty scored by Samuel Sunar in the 39th minute.

Manohara also won the penalty in the 71st minute which was converted by Aviskar Khadka. Sanga scored their second in the first added minute of the match through Bikash Pariyar but they were held back by Manohara for the win.

In the other match, Jhamsikhel made an easy work of Golbazar. Om Dhami gave Jhamsikhel the lead in the 32nd minute. Sanjay Ramtel scored from the penalty spot in the 36th minute before Ajay Waiba tripled the team's advantage in the 43rd minute.

Bikki Maharjan's goal in the second added minute of the game completed the victory for Jhamsikhel. The two matches also concluded the second round of the league.

Pulchowk Sports Club leads the table followed by RC32 Football Academy.
