ANFA Begins Two-Day Amateur Football Environment Analysis

The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has commenced a two-day Amateur Football Environment Analysis at Royal Tulip in Gwarko. The program is being led by Karina Viviana Barriga, Amateur Football Manager for Asia and Oceania, and FIFA Regional Technical Consultant for South Asia, Chokey Nima.

ANFA President Pankaj Bikram Nembang, General Secretary Kiran Rai, Ex-Co members Purushottam Thapa, Manish Joshi, Bikash Narayan Shrestha, Ramesh Byanjankar and other officials and staff attended the opening session.

President Nembang addressed the opening session and highlighted the importance of strengthening Nepal’s amateur football structure to ensure a more systematic player pathway and long-term development.

The analysis aims to assess the structure, challenges, and development opportunities within Nepal’s amateur football landscape, with a focus on strengthening grassroots pathways, competitions, coaching standards, and overall football governance.
