Satdobato Youth Club (SYC) have been promoted to the 'A' Division after Khumaltar Youth Club (KYC) were stunned by Shree Bhagwati Club (SBC) 2-1 in the Martyr's Memorial 'B' Division League on Saturday.
Leaders SYC have 25 points with two matches to play. Even if KYC, currently with 22 points, win their remaining one match they will match SYC's points tally but still be behind SYC due to head-to-head difference.
KYC started well with Sabin KC opening the scoring in the 26th minute. Dona Thapa levelled in the 40th minute and Aashish Shrestha added another six minutes from time.
In another match, Milan Limbu scored the only goal as Divine Boys Union Club (BUC) defeated Tusal Youth Club (TYC). BUC are fourth with 17 points from 10 matches while TYC languish in 10th place with nine points from their 10 matches.

Satdobato Youth Club (SYC) are one win away from being promoted to 'A' Division after registering a comfortable 4-1 victory against Around The Himalaya Bansbari Club (BC) in the Martyr's Memorial 'B' Division League on Friday.
SYC have 25 points from nine matches and have two matches to play. Second-placed Khumaltar Youth Club (KYC) also have two matches remaining with 22 points. Since SYC have better head-to-head result against KYC, they will be promoted if they win one of their remaining two matches.
Ashim Rai opened the scoring for SYC in the 11th minute. Their lead was doubled in the added minutes of first half when BC's Amrit Shrestha scored in his own post. Prabesh Basnet added a third in the 52nd and Dinesh Rai made it 4-0 10 minutes later.
Nishan Sunar scored one in the 77th minute but it was too little and too late to mount any challenge for BC.
SYC's coach Sanoj Shrestha admitted they were closer to promotion but should not be carried away as there were still two matches to play. "We scored early and put on the pressure against our opponent. It paid off and we were able to score more," said Shrestha.
BC's coach Yugal Kishor Rai said they were now out of promotion race and congratulated SYC for inching closer to promotion. "They are now one match closer. We made mistakes and they converted theirs. That let us down," said Rai.
BC have 18 points from nine matches in third position.
In the second match, Madhyapur Youth Association (MYA) defeated Pulchok Sports Club (PSC) with Dhiraj Shrestha scoring a brace for MYA. Shrestha scored in the 33rd and 67th minute while Yam Bahadur Shrestha scored into his own net. Kismat Limbu scored in the 17th minute and Shyrab Lo Tamang scored in the added minutes of first half for PSC.

The All Nepal Football Association is all set to host a new invitational three-nation international football tournament from 22 to 30 March 2021.
The tournament will have participation from Bangladesh and Kyrgyzstan. The Kyrgyzstani team will feature Olympics U-23 team.
The tournament will also have FIFA recognition and will be played in round—robin format. There shall be total of four matches, seeing top two teams playing in the finals.
The ANFA has come up with this concept and opportunity through a gap in the schedule after the postponement of Asian Qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and AFC Asian Cup China 2023.
The Dashrath Stadium will host the matches of three-nation competition.
