ANFA Referee Course in Hetauda

All Nepal Football Association organized Category 4 ANFA Referee Course 2021 in Hetauda from January 25 to 31.

The course was held in cooperation with Province Sports Development Council of Bagmati province and Makwanpur District Football Association.

The course was conducted by technical instructor Gajendra Man Singh, Laba Khatri and Kalpana Sharma. Sailesh Joshi was the fitness instructor of the course assisted by Rojen Shrestha.

ANFA President Karma Tshering Sherpa inaugurated the course.

Thirty-five participants took part in the course.

Third batch of AFC/ANFA 'B' Licence course begins

The third batch of AFC/ANFA 'B' Licence course has begun from Tuesday.

Technical Director Gary Phillips is conducting the course. Head of coach education Sanjeet Singh, Head of Elite Youth Nabin Maharjan and Grassroots Manager Manoj Ranjit are assisting Phillips in the course.

Twenty-five participants are taking part in the course which will last until July 22.

Training of national women's team begins

The national women's football team has begun training from Monday at the ANFA Complex to prepare for the 2022 AFC Women's Asian Cup qualification.

Forty-five players have been called up to the training by head coach Gary Phillips. Assistant coach Chetan Ghimire assumed the training today in Phillips's absence.

Tribhuvan Army Football Club's Kabita Dhimal and Sunita Chaudhary have been replaced by Anjali Waiba and Hema Chaudhary as the former are currently abroad with departmental duties.

Nepal have been drawn alongside Philippines and Hong Kong in Group F for the tournament. The qualifiers matches will be held from September 13-25.

ANFA, Star Hospital sign MoU for hospital and health partnership

All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Star Hospital Limited for the hospital and health partnership.

ANFA General Secretary Indraman Tuladhar and Star Hospital Executive Chairman Kishore K Maharjan signed the agreement at ANFA Complex on Sunday.

As per the agreement, Star Hospital will conduct PCR tests for the players and officials of the national men's and women's team. Star Hospital will also monitor and provide consultation to those who test positive for Covid-19.
