FIFA MA Refereeing Course Concludes

The five-day FIFA MA Refereeing Course has successfully concluded at the ANFA Complex. The closing ceremony was presided over by ANFA CEO Indraman Tuladhar, who also distributed certificates to all participants.

Conducted from November 20 to 24, the course was led by FIFA Referee Development Officer Mohamad Rodzali Bin Yacob and FIFA Technical Instructor Etsuko Fukano, with seven Nepali instructors supporting the sessions.

Over the week, 26 participants — including six women referees — took part in classroom lessons, video analysis, on-field practical drills, and fitness assessments aimed at enhancing decision-making, positioning, and overall refereeing standards. The program also helped strengthen the capacity of local referee instructors, contributing to long-term development and professionalism in Nepal’s refereeing structure.

ANFA bids farewell to national women's team for Indonesia and Chinese Taipei friendlies

The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) bid farewell to the national women’s team set to travel to Indonesia for upcoming international friendlies.

The farewell program was held at Hotel Crowne Imperial, where ANFA General Secretary Kiran Rai and CEO Indraman Tuladhar extended their best wishes to the squad.

Addressing the ceremony, General Secretary Rai encouraged the players to give their best performance and represent the nation with pride.

Nepal will face Indonesia on November 26 before playing Chinese Taipei on December 2.

Two-day Amateur Football Environment Analysis concludes

The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has concluded its two-day Amateur Football Environment Analysis held at Royal Tulip in Gwarko. The program, led by Karina Viviana Barriga, Amateur Football Manager for Asia and Oceania, and FIFA Regional Technical Consultant for South Asia, Chokey Nima, brought together key stakeholders to assess the current state of Nepal’s amateur football ecosystem.

The opening day featured the presence of ANFA President Pankaj Bikram Nembang, General Secretary Kiran Rai, Ex-Co members Purushottam Thapa, Manish Joshi, Bikash Narayan Shrestha, Ramesh Byanjankar, Tika Lama along with officials and staff. President Nembang addressed the inaugural session, highlighting the importance of strengthening grassroots structures, ensuring systematic player pathways, and focusing on long-term football development. The first day also included presentations, group discussions, and initial assessments of existing challenges and opportunities in grassroots and amateur football.

The second and final day saw the active participation of club and district representatives. ANFA General Secretary Kiran Rai opened the session with remarks underlining the need for collective effort and coordinated planning. The final day continued with learning modules, practical sessions, interactive exercises, and deeper analysis of competitions, coaching standards, pathways, and governance practices.
