Police hit four past Waling for convincing win

Nepal Police Club cruised to a 4-1 victory over Waling Municipality in the ANFA Women's League match on Tuesday.

Niru Thapa opened the scoring for Police in the 15th minute, followed by Anushka Sherpa's goal in the 28th minute. Puja Rana added a third in the 32nd minute, and an own goal by Waling's Dhana Bohara on the brink of halftime extended Police's lead to 4-0.

Waling showed resilience in the second half and managed a consolation goal through Yashodha Kumari Chiral in the 85th minute, but the deficit was too much to overcome.

Army defeat Bagmati Youth Club 3-0 in ANFA Women's League

Tribhuvan Army Football Club secured a commanding 3-0 victory over Bagmati Youth Club in the first match of the second leg of the Final Round of the ANFA Women's League on Monday.

Sapana Lama gave Army an early lead, scoring in the sixth minute, while Punam Jargha Magar doubled the advantage in the 22nd minute.

Although Bimala Chaudary missed a penalty in the 34th minute, Chandra Bhandari added a third goal in injury time to cap off the win.

APF draw first blood against Army with convincing win

APF Football Club claimed a hard-fought 3-1 victory over Tribhuvan Army Football Club in the ANFA Women's League match on Saturday at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato.

Nisha Thokar gave APF an early lead with a well-timed header, but Army's Bimala Thapa equalized to set up a competitive contest. APF, however, took control late in the game, with Anita Basnet finding the net in the 85th minute and Preeti Rai sealing the win with a 90th-minute strike.

This marks APF's second consecutive victory in the final round against their departmental rivals, following their dominant 6-0 win over Nepal Police Club on Thursday.

The victory means APF will finish top of the table as the first leg of the Final Round of the League comes to an end.

Bagmati Youth Club defeat Waling Municipality to bolster top-four hopes

Bagmati Youth Club earned a crucial 2-0 victory over Waling Municipality in the ANFA Women's League match on Friday.

Second-half goals from Asmita Khawas and Bishnu Maya Bal secured the win for Bagmati. Khawas broke the deadlock in the 52nd minute, and Bal doubled the lead in the 75th minute to ensure all three points for her team.

The win boosts Bagmati's chances of finishing in the top four, positioning them well for a spot in the Eliminator and Qualifier stages, which will determine the finalists of the league.
