Tribhuvan Army FC and Nepal Police Club draw 0-0

The much-anticipated departmental derby between Tribhuvan Army Football Club and Nepal Police Club in the ANFA Women’s League final round on Sunday ended in a goalless draw.

The match, played at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato, was marred by controversy when Nepal Police Club’s goal in the 23rd minute was ruled out. Puja Rana, who found the net, was adjudged to have fouled Army's goalkeeper, Anjana Rana Magar, during the goal.

The decision led to a 30-minute stoppage as players from Nepal Police Club refused to take on the field. After the dispute was resolved, play resumed, but neither side managed to break the deadlock.

APF FC cruise to 5-1 victory over Bagmati Youth Club

APF Football Club, the reigning champions, continued their dominant run with a 5-1 win over Bagmati Youth Club in the final round of the ANFA Women’s League.

Rashmi Kumari Ghising was the star of the match, delivering a stunning hat-trick with goals in the 6th, 12th, and 70th minutes. Anita KC (59’) and Sabita Rana Magar (27’) also added to APF’s commanding tally.

Bagmati Youth Club’s lone goal came from Pushpa Kumari Khadka, who scored in the 27th minute, giving her team a brief moment of celebration. However, APF’s superior attack and defensive cohesion ensured a comfortable win.

Nepal Police Club defeat Waling Municipality 5-0

Nepal Police Club defeated Waling Municipality 5-0 in the ANFA Women’s League final round match held on Friday.

Anushka Sherpa opened the scoring in the 27th minute and added another goal in the 48th minute for the departmental side.

Samjhana Lawati also made her mark with goals in the first-half stoppage time (45+1) and the 60th minute, while Puja Rana found the net just after halftime in the 46th minute.

Tribhuvan Army FC defeats Bagmati Youth Club in ANFA Women's League Final Round

Tribhuvan Army FC emerged victorious with a 2-0 win over Bagmati Youth Club in the first match of ANFA Women's League final round match held at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato on Thursday.

Bimala Chaudhary scored both goals for the Army side in the 25th and 71st minutes, securing the victory for her team.

The final round features five teams competing in a double round-robin format with the top four teams playing in the Qualifiers, Eliminator and the Final of the tournament.
