APF FC defeat Sankata FC to set up final clash with Army

APF Football Club secured a place in the final of the Red Bull ANFA Women’s Championship after defeating Sankata FC 3–0 in the semi-final at Tharuhat Stadium.

Rashmi Kumari Ghising opened the scoring early in the 11th minute before Anita KC doubled the lead just two minutes later in the 13th minute to give APF a comfortable advantage.

Sankata FC tried to respond but struggled to break through APF’s defense. Gita Rana added the third goal late in the match in the 87th minute to seal the victory.

With the win, APF Football Club advanced to the final where they will face Tribhuvan Army FC on Saturday.
