A seven-day ANFA basic referee course has begun in Phidim, Panchthar from Tuesday.
A total of 43 participants including two women are taking part in the course.
The course is being organized by Panchthar District Football Association with technical support from ANFA.
Phidim Municipality Chief Mitra Prasad Kafle inaugurated the event at the municipality hall.
Panchathar District Football Association President Ganesh Bahadur Rai was also present in the inauguration ceremony. The course will conclude on May 12.
The course is aimed at individuals aspiring to become certified football referees in Nepal.
