The match started with Yemen taking an early lead when Nasser Ahmed Al-Gahwashi successfully converted a penalty in the ninth minute, following a foul committed by Manish Dangi inside the box. However, Nepal swiftly responded, with Sanjeeb Bista equalizing in the 22nd minute.
Gillespye Jung Karki's header in the 66th minute sparked hopes of victory for Nepal. Yet, with just five minutes remaining, Mohammed Abdullah Al-Dahi's goal leveled the score, dashing Nepal's chances of securing the win.
Captain Kiran Kumar Limbu celebrated his 100th appearance for the national side, marking a remarkable milestone in his career. ANFA General Secretary Kiran Rai and Ex-Co member Bikash Narayan Shrestha honored Limbu with a special memento to commemorate the occasion.
