The four-day League Development Programme has concluded in ANFA Complex on Monday. The programme had begun from Friday.
UEFA experts Pasquier Eva, Kenny Macleod and Stuart Larman conducted the course. Representatives from 14 A Division Clubs and ANFA officials were present in the meeting.
The experts discussed on various aspects of the league such as marketing and communication, club licensing, capacity building. A question and answer session was held after the completion of each sessions where clubs representatives sought experts views and suggestions on the topics discussed.
The experts suggested ANFA to review the current structure of the league by working out a plan in the next six months and discuss it with clubs for implementation. They will review the plan and also give their inputs if required.
They also suggested the A Division Clubs to strive towards professionalism by exploring various means to be commercially successful. They said clubs in Nepal should focus more on strengthening the youth system and establish strategies and implementation programmes for club licensing.
