Nepal edge Bhutan 5–3 to finish campaign on a high

Nepal concluded their campaign with an entertaining 5–3 victory over Bhutan in the SAFF Women’s Futsal Championship in Thailand on Sunday.

Sajina Koirala opened the scoring for Nepal in the 9th minute, followed by Anita KC in the 13th minute. Jenifer Rana continued her fine form with two goals in the 19th and 30th minutes, while Sushma Tamang added another in the 25th minute.

Bhutan responded with goals from Deki Lhazom in the 23rd and 26th minutes, while Pema Kuenzang Choeki scored in the 28th minute.

With the win, Nepal finished fourth in the overall points table, bringing their tournament journey to a positive close.

Nepal cruise to 5–1 victory over Pakistan

Nepal returned to winning ways with a convincing 5–1 victory over Pakistan in the SAFF Women’s Futsal Championship in Thailand on Wednesday.

Manisha Thapa Magar gave Nepal an early advantage, scoring twice in the 3rd and 9th minutes. Roshani Bohara Chhetri added a third goal in the 16th minute to strengthen Nepal’s lead. In the second half, Dipa Rai found the net in the 32nd minute before Jenifer Rana sealed the win with a goal in the 35th minute.

Pakistan’s lone goal was scored by Azwa Chaudhary in the 27th minute.

Nepal will play Bhutan in their next and final group-stage match of the SAFF Women’s Futsal Championship.

Nepal fall to Bangladesh in SAFF Women’s Futsal Championship

Nepal suffered a 3–0 defeat against Bangladesh in their group-stage match of the SAFF Women’s Futsal Championship in Thailand on Monday.

Bangladesh took the lead through Sabina Khatun in the 14th minute. Srimoti Krishnarani Sarkar doubled the advantage in the 19th minute before Lipi Akter sealed the victory with a goal in the 33rd minute.

Nepal will face Pakistan in their next match of the SAFF Women’s Futsal Championship as they aim to return to winning ways.

Nepal suffer defeat against India in SAFF Women’s Futsal Championship

Nepal were defeated 8–1 by India in their group-stage match of the SAFF Women’s Futsal Championship in Thailand on Saturday.

India took early control of the match with goals from Diti Kamlesh Kanungo in the 4th, 4th, 13th and 15th minutes. Nishka Parkash scored in the 8th minute, while Ritika Singh added two more goals in the 22nd and 37th minutes. Khushbu Kashiram Saroj also found the net in the 24th minute.

Nepal’s lone goal came through Manisha Thapa Magar in the 8th minute.

Nepal will now face Bangladesh in their next match of the SAFF Women’s Futsal Championship as they look to bounce back in the tournament.
