Thokar's double seal comeback win for APF, Machhindra defeat Chitlang

Machhindra FC defeated Chitlang FC 3‑1, while APF Football Club came from behind to beat Jawalakhel Youth Club 2‑1 at the ANFA Complex on Wednesday.

Machhindra FC took the lead in the 30th minute through Pradeep Budathoki. Jonathan Eduardo extended the advantage in the 65th minute, and Alijon Alijonov added a third in the 69th minute. Chitlang’s Bigyan Khadka pulled one back in the 70th minute, but it was not enough to prevent Machhindra from claiming all three points.

In the second fixture, Jawalakhel Youth Club initially led through Dharbendra Kunwar’s 20th-minute strike. APF FC responded strongly in the second half, with Samiraj Thokar scoring twice in the 58th and 84th minutes to complete the comeback and secure a 2‑1 victory.

Planning Boyz United claim win as Army and Laligurans share points

Planning Boyz United secured a thrilling 4‑2 victory over Satdobato Youth Club, while Tribhuvan Army Football Club and Laligurans Association played out a goalless draw at the ANFA Complex on Tuesday.

Planning Boyz United came from behind after Bobirshoh Sobirov’s 21st-minute strike gave Satdobato an early lead. Alex Willane equalized in stoppage time of the first half (45+7’), and Roman Bhujel put Planning ahead in the 63rd minute. Fagu Ram Tharu then added a brace in the 79th and 83rd minutes to seal a hard-fought 4‑2 win. Satdobato’s Fode Fofana scored in the 69th minute but could not prevent the defeat.

In the second match, Tribhuvan Army Football Club and Laligurans Association were evenly matched, with neither side able to break the deadlock as the game ended 0‑0.

Manang Marsyangdi Club and Nepal Police Club register wins

Manang Marsyangdi Club ran riot against Kankre Bihar Club with a 5‑1 victory, while Nepal Police Club secured a narrow 1‑0 win over Shree Bhagawati Club at the ANFA Complex.

Manang took an early lead through Suresh Kumal in the 16th minute, with Anil Kumar Magar doubling the advantage in the 25th minute. Kankre Bihar pulled one back via Sandip Deuba in the 20th minute, but Manang regained control in the second half.

Gideon Naah Kyeremeh scored twice in the 54th and 85th minutes, while Nawaraj Gurung added another in the 80th minute to seal a commanding win.

In the other fixture, Nepal Police Club claimed all three points thanks to an own goal from Shree Bhagawati’s Peter Segun in the 37th minute. The match remained tight, with Nepal Police holding on to the slender lead until the final whistle.

APF and Church Boys dominate as NRT claims narrow win

APF Football Club overcame Sankata FC 2‑1, Church Boys United defeated Jawalakhel Youth Club 3‑0, and NRT edged Friends Club 1‑0 in competitive National League matches on Sunday at the Dasharath Stadium and ANFA Complex.

APF FC took control against Sankata FC with Pradip Lama opening the scoring in the 29th minute, followed by Yubaraj Khadka’s strike in the 51st minute. Sankata pulled one back late through Ganesh Hamal in the 81st minute, but APF held on to secure the three points.

Church Boys United dominated Jawalakhel Youth Club, with Milan Rai scoring in the 61st minute and Abayomi Oluwaseun Fakunle adding a brace in the 53rd and 68th minutes to complete the 3‑0 victory.

In the ANFA Complex fixture, NRT secured a narrow 1‑0 win over Friends Club thanks to Ashish Gurung’s decisive goal in the 67th minute.
