About

Himalayan Sherpa Club is a topflight association football club from Nepal .The youngest club that plays A division league in Nepal is Himalayan Sherpa Club . Probably it is among those few clubs whose flag had been raised on the world's highest peak . Himalayan Sherpa club obtained fifth position in the first season in the top Nepalese league of 18 clubs . Though the club doesn't have the longest and remarkable history but the club has gained good achievement hence it is symbolized as the dark horse on nepalese football . The club is also proud of our club member Lakhpa Sherpa who conquered the world's tallest mountain Mount Everest with our club’s flag. Himalayan Sherpa Club is also known as the mountaineer .

The club was promoted to A division on 2006 A D eventually on 2007 the significant of promotion was seen as the runner up of A division National league hence then the importance of new club has widely discussed on Nepalese media.
