Madhyapur Youth Club secured a 3-1 victory over Shree Kumari Club in the Martyr's Memorial B Division League 2081 on Saturday.
The match, originally scheduled for Friday, was postponed by a day due to a scheduling conflict with the ANFA Ordinary Congress held in Dhulikhel, Kavre.
Madhyapur made an early breakthrough as Bikarna Shrestha opened the scoring in just the 3rd minute. The team doubled their lead in the 26th minute through Prajjwal Thapa Magar, heading into halftime with a comfortable advantage.
Shree Kumari Club showed significant improvement in the second half and managed to reduce the deficit with a goal from Nishant Pradhan in the 86th minute. However, Madhyapur sealed the win in added time with a goal from Santosh Gongba, putting the result beyond doubt.
