Final squad for Hong Kong and Laos match confirmed

National men’s team head coach Matt Ross has announced his final squad for the upcoming friendly against Hong Kong and the AFC Asian Cup 2027 Qualifiers match against Laos.

Nepal will face Hong Kong on June 5, followed by the Qualifiers match against Laos on June 10.

The national team will fly to Hong Kong on Tuesday and then travel to Laos after the friendly.

ANFA U-16 Youth League to kick off from Asar 20

The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) held a discussion with A Division clubs on the upcoming ANFA U-16 Youth League today at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato.

During the meeting, it was decided that the league will officially begin on Asar 20, 2082 (July 4, 2025). ANFA also announced that each participating club will receive a preparation grant of NPR 350,000.

As per the decisions made in the meeting, all participating clubs must submit minor identification documents (birth certificates or official ID) during the player registration process. A minimum number of players must be registered by Asar 15 (June 29), while club registration must be completed by Asar 5 (June 19). The match fixtures for the competition will be published on Asar 16 (June 30).

The meeting was attended by ANFA General Secretary Kiran Rai, central committee members Manish Joshi, Purushottam Thapa, Bikash Narayan Shrestha, Spokesperson Suresh Shah, ANFA CEO Indraman Tuladhar, and representatives from the A Division clubs.

40 players finalized for national U-20 women's closed camp

A total of 40 players have been finalized for the closed camp of the national U-20 women's team.

Head coach Yam Prasad Gurung and his coaching staffs finalized the names for the closed camp following the initial phase of selection process held in districts and provinces and the final selection process at ANFA Complex in Satdobato.

The team will take part in the SAFF U-20 Women's Championship to be held in Bangladesh from July 11-22, 2025.

ANFA bids farewell to women's team for Thailand friendly

All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has bid farewell to the national women's team traveling to Thailand for the two friendly matches.

ANFA President Pankaj Bikram Nembang, General Secretary Kiran Rai, Ex-Co member and Women's Committee Coordinator Sarila Shrestha Maleku bid farewell to the team at AFNA Complex in Satdobato.

Nepal is set to play two matches in Bangkok — a behind-closed-doors training match on May 30, followed by an international friendly on June 2.

These matches are part of the team’s build-up to the AFC Women’s Asian Cup Australia 2026™ Qualifiers, which begin on May 4. Nepal has been drawn into Group F alongside Laos, Sri Lanka, and Uzbekistan.
