Three member fact-finding taskforce formed over players-coach dispute

All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has formed three member taskforce under former Nepali international and retired Major General of Nepal Army Victor Rana to find the facts regarding the players and coach dispute.

The taskforce will include former Nepali international and retired Major General of Nepal Army Victor Rana, former Nepali international Bidur Bista and Nepal National and International Players Association Vice President Dipak Thapa.

An emergency executive committee meeting on Sunday decided to form the Problem Identification and Recommendation Taskforce. The taskforce will have seven days to submit its report. The taskforce will find the facts and give its suggestion to ANFA on the matter.

Ten members of the national team, currently in closed camp preparations for the AFC Asian Cup 2023 Qualifiers, had left the national team closed camp on April 26. In a memorandum letter to ANFA, the players had claimed they were asked to leave the camp and had informed the team officials about it.

Head coach Abdullah Almutairi had also sent a letter to ANFA General Secretary Indraman Tuladhar regarding the dispute.

Planning Boys halt Jhapa's winning run, Birgunj earn first points

Planning Boys United halted Jhapa Football Club's winning run with a 1-1 draw in the Martyr's Memorial 'C' Division League 2022 on Wednesday.

Pratap Sing Rai gave Planning the lead in the 71st minute which was cancelled by Pema Tamang in the 76th minute.

Birgunj Youth Academy earned their first point of the league with a 1-0 win over Swoyambhu Club. Laxmun Chaudhary scored in the 81st minute which lifted them off the bottom two in the table.

Sanepa Club defeated Sports Academy Sanga 2-0 in the second match of the day. Khem Raj Tamang (76') and Samvrant Singh Dangol (79') scored for Sanepa in the win.

Pulchowk, RC32, Manohara win respective games

Pulchowk Sports Club, RC32 Football Academy and Manohara Untied Club all won the Martyr's Memorial 'C' Division League 2022 with a similar scoreline of 1-0 on Monday.

Shyrab Lo Tamang scored for Pulchowk in the win over Raniban Sports Club.

Bibek Santoshi scored in the 60th minute for RC32 Football Academy in their win over Samaj Kalyan Khelkud Kendra.

Manohara United Club defeated Oasis Club with goal from Mohan Bahadur Thapa Magar in the 70th minute.

Khalibari share point with Swoyambhu, Jhapa defeat Mahabir

Subash Pakhrin Lama scored in the fifth minute of the added time as Khalibari Youth FC shared point with Swoyambhu Club. Avishek Rana Magar had given Khalibari the lead in the 28th minute. Roshan Khadka (67') and Roshan Chhetri (78') scored the goals for Swoyambhu.

Planning Boys United and Sanepa Club shared points after a 1-1 draw. Khem Raj Tamang scored for Sanepa in the third minute before Dipesh Shrestha levelled the game for Planning Boys in the 12th minute.

Jhapa Football Club defeated Mahabir Club with goals from Bishal Rai in the fifth and Bishal Khawash in the 16th minute. Roman Tamang scored for Mahabir in the 11th minute.
