Church Boys United edge Tribhuvan Army 2–1 in National League

Church Boys United came from behind to defeat Tribhuvan Army FC 2–1 in a dramatic National League clash at the ANFA Complex on Tuesday.

Abayomi Oluwaseun Fakunle put Church Boys United ahead in the 32nd minute. Tribhuvan Army equalized through Nawayug Shrestha in the 47th minute, but Rohan Karki scored the decisive goal in the 64th minute.

The match was marred by disciplinary issues as Janaranjan Devkota received a straight red card in the 52nd minute, while Sanil Magar was sent off after a second yellow in the 64th minute, leaving Church Boys United with nine players.

Friends Club played a goalless draw with Chitlang FC in the other match of the day.

Jawalakhel and Planning Boys United record emphatic wins

Jawalakhel Youth Club and Planning Boys United both recorded commanding wins in Monday’s National League fixtures at the ANFA Complex.

Jawalakhel Youth Club defeated Nepal Police Club 3–0. Nicholas Odane Hamilton opened the scoring in the 18th minute, followed by Yubraj Dhakal in the 28th minute. Bikash Darlami Magar sealed the win with a 77th-minute strike. Nepal Police Club had a chance to reduce the deficit when Bharat Shah missed a penalty in the 76th minute.

In the other match, Planning Boys United thrashed Sankata FC 4–0. Papa Ibou Kebe scored a hat-trick in the 19th, 82nd, and 90th minutes, while Shyamu Murmu added a goal in the 30th minute.

APF dominate, NRT share points with Manang Marsyangdi

APF Football Club thrashed Nawa Jana Jagriti Yuwa Club 4–1 at the ANFA Complex on Sunday, while New Road Team and Manang Marsyangdi Club played out a goalless draw.

Nawa Jana Jagriti Yuwa Club took an early lead through Nischaya Thapa in the 30th minute, but APF quickly turned the match around. Hari Karki equalized in the 43rd minute, followed by Yubraaj Khadka’s strike in the 46th. Samirraj Thokar (56’) and Anish Gharti Chhetri (58’) completed the scoring to secure a comprehensive win for APF.

Meanwhile, New Road Team and Manang Marsyangdi Club failed to break the deadlock in a tightly contested 0–0 draw.

Machhindra, Laligurans secure wins

Machhindra FC and Laligurans Association both claimed important victories in Friday’s National League action ahead of the upcoming break.

Machhindra FC defeated Shree Bhagawati Club 2–0, with Pradeep Budathoki scoring in the 53rd minute and Franck Ange Isaac Anoh adding a second in the 57th minute.

Meanwhile, Laligurans Association overcame Satdobato Youth Club 3–1. Abdul Yusuph Haule scored a quick double in the 35th and 38th minutes, Lachhu Thapa added another in the 66th, while Subash Gole pulled one back for Satdobato in the 52nd minute.

The National League will now take a short break before resuming.
