FIFA MA Refereeing Course concludes

June 15, 2017 - A five-day FIFA MA Refereeing Course organized by the All Nepal Football Association under the auspice of the FIFA concluded on Thursday.

A total of 30 elite referees from all around the country had participated in the course conducted by FIFA Instructors Farkhad Abdullaev from Uzbekistan and Ravichandran Chappanimutu from Malaysia.

In the five days, the participants were updated on the newly amended laws of the games both practically and theoretically while a grueling fitness test was also conducted.

ANFA President Narendra Shrestha thanked the FIFA for helping the association organize the course and encouraged the participants to put into use what they had learnt in the course.

He underlined the importance of referees in the development of the game and spoke about how these courses would help the referees match stride with rest of the world.

Instructor Farkhad and ANFA Referee Association President Surendra Sikrakar also spoke about the importance of such courses in keeping the referees updated and fit for the games.

ANFA CEO Indra Man Tuladhar, ANFA Referee Committee Chairman Ganesh Bahadur Chand, ANFA Deputy General Secretary Sanjib Mishra, ANFA Assistant Treasurer Rabindra Joshi and ANFA Ex.Co Member Dinesh Byanjankar were also present at the program.

FIFA Assistant Referees: Rojen Shrestha, Prakash Nath Shrestha, Nani Ram Thapa Magar, Madhav Khatri, Yunal Malla, Padam Bhujel, Bina Shrestha.

National Referees: Shrawan Lama, Srijana Bartaula, Kabin Byanjankar, Prajwal Chhetri, Bikram Chaudhary, Ganesh Chaudhary, Shyam Danwar, Kisan Yadav, Prakash Bhujel, Prajesh Amatya, Aashish Chaudhary, Sahadev Shrestha, Suman Shahi, Madhukar Acharya, Amrit KC, Hem Krishna Ranjitkar, Maya Lama, Radhika Shakya.
