Necessary preparations complete

June 9, 2017 - The All Nepal Football Association has completed all the necessary preparations for the upcoming match of the AFC Asian Cup 2019 Qualifiers against Yemen, the association announced on Friday.

Nepal, who lost their first qualifier match under the same championship against the Philippines, will be taking on Yemen at the Halchowk Stadium on June 13 (Tuesday) at 3 PM.

ANFA has estimated a budget of Rs. 4.3 Million to be required for the conduction of the match. Different committees have been set up for the smooth functioning of the match.

For the first time tickets will be sold online from E-sewa. Priced at Rs. 1000 each, a total of 700 tickets will be sold from June 10 (10 AM) for two days.  The tickets will be sold on a first come first serve basis.

ANFA CEO Indra Man Tuladhar informed that the ANFA has signed a two-year deal with online company for ticket selling, which means the tickets for all the international as well as domestic championships to be held in Kathmandu in the next two years will be done through E-sewa. One person can only purchase two tickets from E-sewa for this match.

Keeping in mind the convenience of the spectators, the stadium gates will open two hours prior to the match.

Yemen national team will be arriving two days before the match, while the match officials are set to arrive on Saturday.

A total of 24 teams (divided into six groups) are vying to become the top 12 teams to join another 12 teams that have already qualified for the main event.
