Nepal U-15 starts off with a win

Mar 11, 2017 - Nepal U-15 defeated Bhutan U-16 by 7-1 in the opening match of the SFT South Asia - JFA U-16 Exchange Programme in Race Course Ground, Colombo on Saturday.

Nepal took the lead in the match with Ranjan Pun opening the scoring in the 9th minute. Birjesh Chaudhary doubled the lead just a minute later. Karlosh Bakhariya then scored in the 14th minute to make it 3-0. Birjesh scored his second in the 19th minute while Roshan Rana Magar made it 5-0 in the 26th minute.

Bhutan scored their only goal in 57th minute. Nepal scored two more goals in the second half with Roshan Rana Magar and Ranjan Pun getting their individual braces.

Nepal will face Japan U-15 at 19:15 NST at the same venue on Sunday.
